Drei Annen Hohne is a village that lies on the edge of the Harz National Park in the Harz mountains of central Germany. Administratively it is part of the borough of Wernigerode in the district of Harz within the German state of Saxony-Anhalt.
During the building of the Harz Railway and Brocken Railway a halt was established for the Forsthaus Hohne forestry lodge and the County of Stolberg's highway lodge, later the Gasthaus Drei Annen inn, which was initially called Signalfichte ("Signal Spruce"). After the spruce on the Hagen Road fell victim to the weather, the railway station became Drei Annen Hohne, a name which was also adopted in the early 20th century by the small settlement next to the station where the present Kräuterhof Hotel stands.
